ComCloud Privacy Policy

In order to keep pace with changes in our service, we may review our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy from time to time to make sure they're up to date. We encourage you to read them carefully.

COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF USER DATA
ComCloud New Zealand (referred to as we or us) collects and stores details about our clients, from our clients, as necessary only for serving them as customers of our business.

When customers create accounts or make purchases from your webshop they will be required to provide personal details such as name, address, company name, email address, phone number etc. for the purpose of you, as the shop owner, to be able to serve them as customers of your business. As an example you will need a shipping address so you ship the purchased goods. And you will need an email address so the shop can send out order confirmation emails.

Personal information about your customers will not be accessible by any other webshop owners. As your webshop service provider this information will however be accessible by us. We will not disclose information about your customers to any other parties (unless required to do so by law).

Under the Privacy Act 1993 you have rights to access and correct the personal information you provide to us.

Please also refer to our Terms & conditions.

SHARING OF DATA
No personal data given to us will be shared with any other parties (unless required to do so by law).

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
No credit information data is collected or stored by us on any of our servers. Any credit card data will be given to, and stored by, our online payment service provider SwipeHQ.

COOKIES
When using a webshop service from us, whether it be the store front or the online administration panel, a cookie (a small text file containing a session ID) is stored on your computer (and on your customers' computer). This cookie enables the webshop service to identify you or your customers when browsing from one page to another. This is necessary for such things as maintaining signed in status during your visit, remembering basket contents from page to page and allowing you to view and edit account information.

Webservices such as this do not function without the ability to transport you from one page to another without losing information about your visit. You cannot use a webshop service (store front or administration service) if you have disabled cookies in your browser.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and in order to create reports. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

The only cookies in use on our site are for Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps website owners understand how visitors engage with their website. Google Analytics customers can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with their website so that they can improve it.

Like many services, Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. We then use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our site.

Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page.

Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics without affecting how you visit our site – for more information on opting out of being tracked by Google Analytics across all websites you use, visit this Google page.
